Viewership for the most recent season, which wrapped July 13, averaged 1.8 million viewers per week in same-day ratings, down slightly from its freshman run. The series, from ABC Studios, continues to be the No. 1 basic cable program during its 10 p.m. Sunday time period among women.

Valentina has been one of the central characters on Devious Maids which follows a close-knit group of maids, Marisol (Ana Ortiz), Rosie (Dania Ramírez), Carmen (Roselyn Sánchez), Valentina (Ganem) and Zoila (Judy Reyes), bonded together by their jobs, life struggles and the melodramatic universe that engulfs their employers.
Devious Maids revolves around a group of Latina maids who work in the Beverly Hills homes of wealthy and powerful families. The large cast includes Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sánchez, Judy Reyes, Edy Ganem, Susan Lucci, Rebecca Wisocky, Tom Irwin, Grant Show, Drew Van Acker, Mariana Klaveno, Brianna Brown, Brett Cullen, Wolé Parks, Mark Deklin, Joanna P. Adler, Colin Woodell, and Dominic Adams.
In the next episode of "Devious Maid" season 3, the Stappords will have to deal with police queries regarding her recently discovered body. The other girls will also have to deal with a lot of relationship dramas in the episode titled "Cries and Whispers."
As per episode nine's summary by Spoilers Guide, the devious Sebastien is going to encourage Carmen to fake a relationship with his wife, Jacklyn. Last week, Sebastien revealed that he could not leave his wife because she was loaded with money. If he left her, he would be departing with his source of wealth. However, the conniving man is going to suggest that Carmen forges a faux relationship with her so that she will leave him.
This devious plan ensures that Jacklyn leaves Sebastien and he gets a slice of her money. But will the singer fall for his cunning plan? Fans surely hope Carmen does not fall into that trap but the episode's title, "Bad Girl," may be indicating that she will. Is Carmen the bad girl that the title refers to?
The production team of 'Devious Maids' Season 3 is yet to announce the new season's airing date. Both Marc Cherry, creator of the series and producer Eva Longoria seem to be holding their tongues. Ironically, some of the show's leading actors and actress are observably migrating to some other programs. Ana Oritz, who plays the character of Marisol and Collin Woodell, who plays Ethan are reportedly trying to look for other shows, Breathecast reports. This is quite a controversy and dilemma. If the leading actors find work somewhere else, this could spell trouble for the "Devious Maids" Season 3.
Rumours have it that Ana Oritz plans to migrate to latest ABC series 'How to Get Away with Murder' and take on a guest role. She even expects to have a recurring role in the same series. Ortiz plays a crucial role in "Devious Maids" though. On season 2, Marisol Suarez created number of blockades for her newly married husband Nicholas Deering to escape from his crime.
Collin Woodell leaving the show may be bad news too. His role as Ethan is quite important in the show. Rebeca Wisocky and Edy Ganem shared however, that season 3 of "Devious Maids," will be as explosive as ever. If some characters leave the show, the producers and directors can certainly do some changes that would not affect the show's popularity.
"I don't want to spoil the final for you, but I will say that the season leaves the Powells changed in a fundamental way. How they move forward from there will be a big question." Rebecca said. At the same time, Edy Ganem told Examiner that "You can't end it like that. So third season, please! I don't want to die!" breathecast reports.
According to Deadline, the TV series is planning for a major cut-back on the cast for its upcoming season three. Although Ganem and Van Acker have lost their series regular status, they are set to appear in multiple episodes in the season.
Also, according to the report, the series regular Mark Deklin won't be returning after the second season. The show is casting new actors instead, such as Naya Rivera of the "Glee' fame will taking up a new role. Rivera will be playing Blanca, a new maid in the neighborhood who discovers a secret that changes the course of her life and the lives of those around her, according to Deadline.
The third season will pick up from the cliffhanger, in which the previous season had ended, when a gunman targeted the maids at Rosie and Spence's wedding. The actors, Ganem and Van Acker, who won't be seen much in season three, were among the guests at at Rosie's wedding.
"Devious Maids" tells the stories of ambitious Latina maids working for rich and powerful families in Beverly Hills and dealing with their dirty secrets and sordid details of everything from illicit affairs to murder.
After "Glee" concluded its last season on Friday, Rivera will now sing her way to cleaning up some massive jars, most likely to spill out some beans about the family she will work for during the premiere episode titled "Awakenings." 781b155fdc
